Mes' Roof
I'm not a graffiti artist, nor have I ever been that much into it. No emotions concerning the matter at all, really. However, a friend of mine, Jared Coffin, clued me into this rooftop. It's called Mes' roof. Mes is an old graffiti tag for Boston and this is his roof. His tags on this roof have not been painted over. They're fading and surrounded by newer, brighter tags, but they persist. The building is being condo-ized, so I don't know how much longer Mes' roof will remain his. Here it is for posterity.

Portrait by Yoav Horesh
Last semester - Fall 2007 - I took a Social Documentary Photography class at MassArt.
Yoav Horesh, my instructor, made this photo one night after class as we were waiting for the elevator. He, I and Sam Quinn were always the last out the door and were always negotiating rides with one another to some part of the city.
Yoav inspired me quite a bit. I've added a link to his site at the right.
